In this talk, we will first review some important applications of biharmonic functions which are solutions of bi-Laplace equation. Then we will present some computations of bi-Laplacians on some model spaces which can be used to construct many examples of proper biharmonic functions in space forms. Finally, we will present some recent work on eigenvalues of bi-Laplacian in a sphere.
