In this presentation, we would like to discuss some recent progress on the subject of controllability to systems of quasilinear hyperbolic partial differential equations. Especially, we would like to show that when the Kalman type conditions hold, one could achieve the exact boundary controllability with fewer controls than classical results. This presentation is based on collaborations with Prof. Long Hu.
